This is a recipe I invented recently, and I love it. It’s pretty simple.
1) Throw some (a whole normal sized punnet, roughly) whole field mushrooms in a pan in the oven, with some whole cloves of garlic (skin still on), some olive oil, and plenty of salt. The oven is best at a mediumish type temperature.
2) After 20 mins or so, put some pasta on.
3) Once the pasta is done, drain it. Then add a jar of green pesto, the mushrooms & garlic, and a big slab of blue cheese of some sort (I like to use one of the creamier kinds).
Serve.
That’s it.

Adam made this for me and a few others a couple of weeks ago and I can attest that it was delicious! I confess to being slightly dubious at the point where you threw the blew cheese in, but it did genuinely go really well with the pesto and roast veg.
